Thanks! EA support told people here all sorts of misinformation. From the game getting sunset to there being no problem at all. Something really needs to be done to improve the quality of support they give.

Feedback:
+1 on improving the first line support, EA_CadeI was told the game is working and the issue is local to me only.
thing is , the issue happened mid session me and a group of players got kicked out, and we were unable to login for almost 3 full days.
it's better to hear from support " i don't know, but im checking"
instead "its working for us, the issue is with you"
maybe chasing tickets/chat and closing them fast is the motivator instead of the actual quality of the response.
i understand most issues lie between the keyboard and the chair, but this was obviously not the case on this one, and resulted in 3 days of downtime(!) ,
I manage servers for the living .. this is actually unacceptable turnaround in my world,
I would expect a company as reputable as EA to be on point in these kind of issues.how to fix? well , I understand it's legacy code... , so just poke at it from outside , spin a vm that automates login attempt and capture the packet in case of error to notify a human to look at it.
