SimCity 3000 - Scale up UI (text/menus)

Hi @EA_Cath thanks for your answer and apologies for the delay.
Here are a couple of screenshots that (hopefully) will allow you to understand the problem I'm currently facing:
Main menu (surrounding black space is what I see when I start the game, menu screen doesn't scale with the 1080p patch):

Text in above picture is what I'm trying to make bigger, but I couldn't find any way to do it. Young people (or sharp-sighted people) may not have an issue with this, but my eyes suffer a lot of strain with that font size.
Any suggestion is more than welcomed. Thanks!
