Yet one more voice to the horde that is STILL having problems with this game.
After about 2-3 hours (tested this on multiple cities, multiple regions) I get a black screen, a 4-6 second pause, and then the main menu. No error, no message, just a drop back to the menu. When I log back in to the city, I have lost all progress since the last time I logged in and approximately 1 out of every 2 re-logs my city will desync within 15-30 minutes.
Let me be clear on this: I have 17 hours invested in the game (according to Origin), only approximately 3-4 hours of gameplay are actually saved! It's completely unacceptable to take 80 (yes I got suckered by the useless Digital Delux edition) dollars from people for a product that is completely broken. Diablo III had the infamous "Error 37". SimCity doesn't even give you that courtesy. It just boots you, without warning, from your SINGLE PLAYER GAME and deletes all of your progress.
This is beyond frustrating. And, of course, there is no local save feature to back-up your game to the hard drive.
