SimCity Mac will not go full screen

So after a hour of trying to get Origin to start and not crash, SimCity opens in a window that's about 1/8 of my monitor. The rest of the monitor is gray. I can't get it to go full screen and I can't make the window any bigger. I can only move it around. it's so small I can't even see the options after the game launches. I just see the middle of the buildings on the right side of the start menu graphic.

I deleted SimCity for PC after getting so frustrated with all the issues at the PC launch. I'm so frustrated with EA/Maxis right now. Does anyone know what to do or should I just go play my Steam games and not be a guinea pig for EA's continuous QA issues?

Indeed. Of course EA can say "Os X 10.9 is not released yet", but it will in less than a month, and they should have tested before since the DP has been available for several months. I wonder if the game will work when Os X 10.9 will be officially released (in less than a month).

Having the same issue, though I finally got Simcity to launch with -w  - of course, you have to play in a window afterwards, but you can change the graphics options and make it almost as big as your screen.

Not great, but hey, at least I can play now 🙂

On SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition I can change screen size by clicking on the gear beside the "Launch Game" button. It gives me the option of "Fullscreen" or "Play in Window"  Hope this helps.

There have been so few Apple PC users answering anything here, your odds of actually finding a peer of your own are very low.  Your fellow Apple players just won't stay around, so the official support is the only way for you to go:
