OK , So this BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH took me a while to figure out. I would get the same issue every 30-60 mins as well, almost stopped playing and got a refund. I am not longer getting blue screens at all, the game does glitch but I NOW can ctrl+alt+del and close the game, I could not do this before had. I just played for 6 hours with on game glitch not a BSOD
1) Update your BIOS - This is a must must must
2) nvidia video card holders - Update to the 3/15/13 beta drivers (They are made for Sim City 5)
3) MS config - Close all stuff that it running that you dont need.
Also look up your BSOD error code, if its a 0x00000101 - Then #1 is a must
IF YOU CANNOT GET AN UPDATED BIOS FIRMWARE THEN YOU WILL NEED TO INCREASE YOU CPU VOLTAGE MANUALLY ONE VOLT AT A TIME,
** IF YOU FRY YOUR MOTHERBOARD THATS ON YOU**
***Sidenote, if your motherboard is old by a new one, they are really only like 50-100 bucks

Doesnt say anything about Simcity 5, and no, its not a BIOS issue, and your telling people to buy a knew one shows how little you know about computers and computer repair. All the motherboards that would work with my CPU are over 400 bucks, and the wrong form factor.
Now lets assume it is indeed the BIOS, most people dont know how and are not capable of updating the BIOS, and it also means that Maxis and EA failed proper BETA testing Protocols, which means, it is STILL ON THEM to fix it. IF it was the BIOS, very big IF, i would have issues with more than ONE GAME, or program, as it is, the only issues I have are with Origin related games. i can run numeorus Eve-Online programs at once, with Firefox, Yahoo Messenger, Pigeon, and a few other programs that i start + the basic windows/AV/Antimalware WITHOUT ANY ISSUES.
