Simcity "signal loss" "Black screen of death" thread

There are a ton of threads about this issue. EA or Maxis hasn't acknowledged this problem yet. When you call EA they blame your computer but how can it be all our computers? How can this be the only ...

It appears that it is a video card / game compatibility issue.  I have an EVGA GT 430 video card, and I popped in a Radeon HD5450, and it has resolved the black screen of death issue.

So Maxis should fix this, or EA (if it's Origin-related)

    I don't think I even care about a fix at this point. I just want my money back. ..... Or Origin store credit. The free game they gave is cool and all but the fact is I paid 60 for a game I want to play not for a free game that I already beat on the 360.
