I simply love buying stuff and then never using it, like my ridiculously overpowered gaming PC.... a lazy $5.5K. Or how about that time when i bought that game that only ever sort of worked and then completely stopped working. Definately my favourite thing that i don't use.
Up yours EA/Maxis !!!
Either acknowledge problems so that we as customers can sit tight and be patient as i know we all would, or, give us our money back. I'm pretty sure there are some fairly comprehensive laws about 'fitness for purpose' as related to products and services. I'm also pretty sure that Sim City is not fit for its purpose unless said purpose was to cause nerds all around the world to unite and... whinge!
Give us something you &^$^$#%&^$#s!!!!'
Oh, and btw I'm having the same god **bleep** problem.

I read a little to see if there was any type of law and from what i've seen we are basically screwed. I'd be happy with store credit. I want to buy Tomb Raider heh. I asked multiple times if I can get my refund from EA AND Gamestop and both basically told me to eff off. I told Gamestop what the game is doing and they were like "cool story bro"

Have a look at this site, in Australia this is very clearly the law.

Law or not. When you call and try to get a refund or e-mail for that matter they reject you. No clue what you are supposed to do when that happens. I have 2 copies of the game. Mine and my finance's. We both want our money back. When I contact Gamestop they tell me it is against federal law to take back opened software... Which sounds fishy to me but no matter what I say they deny me.
