I read a little to see if there was any type of law and from what i've seen we are basically screwed. I'd be happy with store credit. I want to buy Tomb Raider heh. I asked multiple times if I can get my refund from EA AND Gamestop and both basically told me to eff off. I told Gamestop what the game is doing and they were like "cool story bro"
Have a look at this site, in Australia this is very clearly the law.

Law or not. When you call and try to get a refund or e-mail for that matter they reject you. No clue what you are supposed to do when that happens. I have 2 copies of the game. Mine and my finance's. We both want our money back. When I contact Gamestop they tell me it is against federal law to take back opened software... Which sounds fishy to me but no matter what I say they deny me.

Yeah I basically have given up also. I dont really ever expect there to be a fix for this. But I cant lie, I do keep a small part of my heart open wishing I could play this game. It really sucks to see a major gaming company **bleep**ting on their customers like this. Back in they day the gaming community to include the companies were pretty tight knot and cared about each other. Now a days they are too big to care at all about it. I just read that they sold a million copies and its disappointing that there is so much money and support for them and virtually nothing in return!
