I have been a fan of Sim City for years ever since 2000 hit the Playstation. I just bought a new computer the other day with 2 AMD Radeon 7250 video cards and dual graphics enabled (tried it with just the one, same problem) and while i can run 5 world of warcraft windows on different accounts at ultra graphics + Battlefield 4 at maximum without them even breaking a metaphorical sweat the new Sim CIty requires a better graphics card? If thats the case i want my $30 back. Better fix it or fix my payment EA
Did you ever determine exactly WHAT video graphics solution you had?
I have a AMD Radeon R7 360 Series video card, AMD FX 6300 Six Core 3.5Ghz Processor, 8GB ram, Windows 10 64bit OS. Although I also received this message... I find that hard to believe considering I can play most games very well.
Actually, Simcity 2013 has rather lenient requirements. I'm betting the launcher is "reading" your GPU as something else, entirely, from many years ago. The game will soon be three years old. The R7s stopped with a 260X when the game was released. The previous "HD" card series didn't have any "7360", but an actual HD 7350 was an OEM option from HP and a number of other PC producers.
It was a real slug, but probably could have run the game, if occasionally slowly.
How does the DxDiag utility describe the card, I wonder? You want to arrange for us to see a copy?
