sims city 2013 launches, but does not load after the start screen

I have a gateway ultra slim notebook laptop. I just installed Sim City (2013) I have ea pro plus or whatever, I can open and launch the game, but after i press the play button, it does it's thing and...

Did you get a fix for this? How could I get support for this one. I'm also having that same issue and I really want to play :c

@paps95103 I change my pc's resolution, used compatiblity mode with XP service pack 2 & 3, Vista Service pack 2 & 3, and Windows 7 & 8. No luck so far.
