Unable to create your city at this time. Please claim a city again later

11:54 pm EST.... thought maybe it would be better later in the evening when maybe some of the east coast kiddies went to bed.... no dice... still unable to open my cities or create new ones.

How can I just get a refund.. I havent been able to play this game for even 1 second since I downloaded it at midnight release day. This is so insane- I shall not buy another EA game.. Lesson learned. Seriously- take it back- and give me a refund please.  

I am gonna ask for my money back too, after 7 hours of this idiocy I am done with it. Not a single update, nor any communication from EA. Sick of being openly shown contempt for.

EA says if anyone wants a refund just sit on your toilet and blow it out your A**!

I'm really not one to complain, but the fact that countless SimCity fans paid over $60 for this game and are unable to play it is ridiculous, embarassing, and unprofessional. I'll give EA until tomorrow night to fix the server issues. If I can't play the game by tomorrow night, I'm taking it back for a refund. SAD, EA, REALLY SAD. 

Did they completely miss the purpose of beta or learned anything from SWTOR?

I'll be asking for a refund also, DRM isn't the answer... You're not punishing the pirates, you're punishing the people who actually bought your product.

Even if the server's status is available, I can't create my city. Please pay our money back, shut the business down, and learn from these mistakes. Maybe agriculture would be a better business for you :P
