You can not claim this city because you do not own some of the content used to create it

So will this get fix today. Or is this a next week thing.

i cant play online becouse of this **bleep** ! fix it damned!

I just tested again and it still doesn't let me claim a city that I abandoned to let my friend fix.  I'm getting very impatient about this fix.

We wanted to play so that we abandon cities before signout so that we can all work together on a group of cities like a huge collaborative project

this bug where if any deluxe player touches something it fails with limited or any limited player touches something it fails for standard is ridiculous and should be fixed at highest priority. The rest of the game is amazing, don't let this DLC stinker ruin it for everyone!

It seems that with the download DLC content you still can't join the Digital Deluxe versions abandoned cities due to lacking Heroes and Villians DLC, which isn't even available on the Origin store... wtf ea/maxis

I have the deluxe edition and I get the same error in every city, cannot join a region at all.  Which, after the failure to filter regions is pretty obnoxious.

Same here i havent really seen a proper answer from ea on this matter. 

Is this a bug related to the disabled search filter or is it really because of the different game version conflicts?

after looking at regions manualy for like 20 or so i finally got a free slot so happy happy i bash the claim city button as quick as possible but oh no what do i get?? 

In my region at the Europe west 4 server the problem seems to be fixed! 🙂

There were a number of abandoned cities, and today I managed to let an other player reclaim one of them.

To do so, I had to send that player a new inviting.

Another hint for those who reclaim an empty bankrupt city with loans:
You can let a neighbour city send money, but that won't arrive as long as the city is on hold. The solution to receive the money gift is to activate some disasters. In that time the game will be running again, and the money will arive.

I just want to let people know that this is still happeneing and is happening to me. Been spending the last 20 mins trying to find a place to make a city but cant. Dont get how you can pay 60 dollars and still not get to play with other people becasue your you still have not payed enough.

Unfortunately too soon cheered. It really seemed to go well. But after one new player has joined the region by reclaiming a city, I now get the same old message again of not owning the right content.

So I'm still hoping EA will fix this soon, or at least give us a conformation about the knowing of this issue.

I had the same problem with a friend. We both had the limited edition of the game. This is what I did to fix the problem.

In my copy, I had redeemed the "Nissan Leaf Charging Station". I asked my buddy to do the same. This fixed the problem immediately.

Have you upgraded your copy of the game since you bought it? More importantly, has your friend done the same?

I don't know the issue relates to Deluxe & Limited edition users. I would be such a bad idea if a player can inherit a feature that comes with a reclaimed city. (maybe with certain restrictions)
