Your city is not processing properly

After playing my city for a while I got the error below:

"Your city is not processing properly. We would like to try to repair it. This process will take you back to the main menu."

I hit Quit, much to my shagrin as this was the only option, and it removed me from the game. I then had the option to rollback. I did that, and found that it has only set me back a bit, so I didn't worry. 

I then prceeded to have this happen 6 more times, any where from 5 to 15 minute after rolling back and reopening the map, and it always set me back to the exact same place. It seems to always happen shortly after I hit 5k people and upgrade my city hall.

I will be attempting to star a new city on  a new region to test. I'd much prefer to keep this first city going if possible. Any help is appreciated.

Edit - New region worked for some time but the error just started with this new region as well.

    Down from 85000 to 64000, happened after i buldoze my trade centre and change it into a bigger one

    same thing is happening to me.. happens everytime around 7:00-8:00 AM game time no matter how many times i accept the rollback.

    Same for me. Forced to continuously roll back to the same point. Would really love to know a fix for this.

    I can't even play all my city's have an error saying Simcity Your city is not processing properly rollback after minutes of play.

    Yep Simcity is not amazing...

    I was in a second city and i went to gift my main city with 100,000+ population and after i gifted simoleons to that city i got the message! not happy at all!

    just got rolled back.  I think this is it for me tonight anyway. I'll let EA try a rack their (obivious) lack of a brain and figure some of this stuff out.  From what I've played so far, I do like the game, its just buggy as hell.  Its buggier than Lousiana in the spring time.  It's buggier than the rain forest.  Its way too **bleep** buggy to be released yet.  What happened to testing products before they're releasted?

    Yes yes, this has happened to me 5 times today. Whenever I am lucky enough to log in properly, I get to play for 15-30 minutes and then I get this error and lose all of my progress.

    Had this happen to one of my cities..then after the rollback the region won't even process. So I have my entire region I now can't play.  Says to check back later....

    I refuse to make another city and invest my time into this game until they fix this crap.   Come Monday morning if all this crap hasn't been ironed out it is refund time for me.
