Dualshock 5 Controller Not Working PC

Question

I have no idea why it's not connecting. When I launch the game with my controller on it shows "press X" but does NOT register my controller. It's extremely frustrating. I've tried everything atp even adding the EA app to steam so Steam Input can lock it in. I don't know what to do does anyone have a fix? This is ridiculous imo.

This game is made for BOTH consoles and if it was an issue it wouldn't say "press x" to start the game. It's silly to say the least. I should be able to plug in either XBOX or PS controllers and play the game.&nbsp;

well pcs are windows and atm it prefers xbox controllers&nbsp;
