you can dive roll, but the timing is tight. hold spread eagle to maintain forwards speed, let go of A/X a little before landing, then let go of RB/R1 right when you hit the ground. Practicing the timing on flat ground is easier cause you don't need the spread eagle. The physics forgive more vertical impact the faster you are horizontally. applies to skating too.
yeah i get it, but my point is i want to land big stairs and big drops :)
as for now not easy and that sucks considering how unrealistic the game already is...

love big stairs! haven't found a (stair)set yet that cant be landed, is there one you've found un-landable.
The bs flip 50 seconds in here is the biggest set i've found and landed fine https://www.youtube.com/watch?si=_HKR95zUG3KJnUDK&v=K3a0fxvDYC0&feature=youtu.be
Launches I get, not my style

yo!
thats a nice land, on the stair 50 sec in, not the biggest stairs tho, and im counting double set stairs, there are bigger, dont have screenshots now but will provide you =)
i usually jump off a building drop into a kicker to gain speed able to do tricks down big stairs, not talking about grinds, just flip down from flat to flat, off of big stairs, and dont matter the speed or if i land it with a big clearance i usually bail cause of the impact, this i think is boring, would love to be able to do slow flips of off big stairs,
get back to you a few spots that are hard to land
also did u pull of any other tricks than bs 180? for me it feels like a russian rooulette some tricks can land a big impact and some cant, if you are able to land any tricks of off that stair cool, then i want your settings :)

I was just skating the rail there and wanted to see if it the set could be cleared, so didn't try anything else. I have a session on a big set at 3.10 in the vid. Will try some of those tricks down it soon
If you can def share a bigger set or other hard to land stuff, sound fun! double sets are different mainly as its distance.. if you have one in mind without an awkward run up i'm down to have a go
