(Purple) next rank Challenges/missions tab

So has anybody been ranking up and not getting the purple  challenges , when on the map hovering over each districts skatshop you see rewards like a pair of Sox and a little dipmond that says challenges underneath, 1 sometimes 2 , however I've been ranking up and those missions after rank 2 on gulcrest and hedgmont, im on rank 4 now and i should have unlocked 3 challenges ( also missions in the hub tab)  and I'm not getting any of them ..anyone else experiencing the same or different perhaps?
