Re: Character customization is horrible

@Braddock512 Figuring out a place to provide feedback is so difficult, and this game is a lifestyle game near and dear to everyone, it has such a cult following because the Skate 3 game was the best game to achieve not only the skater experience, but also provide a simulation for skate tricks. I think the game has pushed the boundaries of skating in real life after so many people have seen what could be achievable with skating. With that said I hope you will take some of my feedback into consideration. Each skate game offered a little something new and pushed the boundaries of the previous game. I feel this can be achieved with adding a surf skate option or style. Surf skating is a style of skating that has not been represented in a game. Some other players have also suggested maybe adding in longboards and such to the game. A big one I think that gets overlooked in games in general, even though many people bring this up, it feels as if the industry at times does not listen to the fact that we want cooler black hairstyles that we don't have to get mods for. In modern times there are some cooler and hipper styles than the basic styles that are in every game, and it seems kind of lazy, and doesn't give the user full customization options. Some skaters also either skate in the Mike Vallely style, or would like to try it out in a game. Again this is the kind of thing that helps push the sport in real life. Carving on the board whether it be skating transition, wall rides, or flatground should be far more advanced just like carving in real life. The music is always great, yet it still seems a little corporate and out of touch with the subterranean counter culture society. What I mean by this is, many many people listen to shoegaze, and pop punk that is just below the mainstream. The band Title Fight has over 2 million monthly listeners on spotify, and is well known in the community, the band Turnstile has over 1 million monthly listeners and is arguably one of the most influential underground acts of the past ten years. The band called The Story So Far picked up where bands like Taking Back Sunday left off. Yet none of these bands, or anything similar is represented in the game thus far. Also hardcore music and moshpits are a favorite of many skaters and it would be nice to at least have one hardcore band such as the band Knocked Loose be represented in a game. The graphics to skate 3 made it something quite special, because it really brought the game to life and felt like you were really skating, so far the graphics to skate 4 look unrealistic, almost like a cartoon or an anime. Many people agree the game needs to take an improved realism approach, especially with the latest technology available now that can achieve this. Skate 4 should focus on innovation and doing the things no one else has done yet, and it will then be another game that people will love and respect even ten years later just like skate 3. I think that it is amazing that everyone involved has taken on such a great task to make something that is so dear to the skate community. I believe in the end the creators can and will do a great job. However, the feedback from the fans needs to be taken seriously in order to achieve this.
