Received access on PC but got an error attempt to download
When contacting ea support they claim they can’t do anything because they are out of codes, so apparently they were sending out more codes than they actually had server space? From what I hear session is still the better & more realistic skating game overall so I will be sticking to that either way. I wanted to play for the nostalgic purposes but it doesn’t even look anything like the OG skate or skate 2 looked so the only I’m really missing out on is the online aspect but oh well I’m not supporting a **bleep** company that made a mistake like this & claim they can’t fix it because they have no more codes. If you somehow sent too many codes out and didn’t have enough server space why not open another server like any normal company would or better yet maybe only have a planned number for the Play test & only send out that many codes?? It’s really not that hard so I don’t understand how they even managed to screw this up & then just be like oh yeah I’m sorry you can’t access the play test but we have no more codes. And then try to be like but wait till early access then everyone can play. Lol EA support is funny if they think that. I was hit by a car last month & can’t skate irl so was hoping to get to skate online with the homies. But after this experience & screw me out of playing + getting the in game bonuses/head start on everything when I sent over proof that I received access but can’t play & never got to. Why would I play after especially when it’s on you guys. If it were somehow my fault yeah sure by all means but you the devs can’t send another code when you sent out too many to begin with is crazy unprofessional & just weird I’ve never heard of anyone having an issue like this for any other playtest/beta etc if they do the company just sends a working code like normal. This is why I & a lot of the gaming community stopped supporting EA they are just a bad dev team overall & they’ve only gotten worse. They will probably go bankrupt or die out soon though nobody looks forward to any EA games Skate is literally the only thing left they have & it’s already not looking promising if they aren’t able to fix a faulty code & with no story mode the game will get boring quickly 😂
