Why they email everyone and then not approve all of them

Why would they send out the email and directions of getting the code and download it they just don’t approve. Why not just send it to the only people able to play it so it’s not just putting bait rig...

Like it shows the list of playtests and mine is only at the top so not approved. Ik I can’t play cuz that but why even show it if none of the others can get it anymore
