The Xbox 360/Xbox One and the PlayStation 3/PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita both use their own types of account for managing your games and online interactions; Gamertag for Xbox, and PSN ID for Playstation.
For EA games, these accounts should be linked to your Origin account.
Note for Next Gen Consoles: Your gamertag or PSN ID carries over from Xbox 360/PS3 to Xbox One/PS4.
If you have played any EA game on the last generation of consoles, please make sure you find and use that same account when you play on next gen.
Linking your accounts:
Your Gamertag/PSN ID and Origin Account should be correctly linked when you first access an EA game online if you use the same email address for both.
We recommend that you check your Origin account to ensure your emails match.
If the email address for your Gamertag/PSN/PSVita ID is different than the address for your Origin account, connect them using the steps below:
If you have issues connecting your account, you will need to properly link them by contacting a Game Advisor.
Did you forget if your Origin/EA Account is linked to your Gamertag/PSN ID?
there is no kind of import friend menu. why would there be, you click to add a friend which pulled up a search window. you have people running 10 different directions to simply link an account instead of having the option in the account settings. And after spending all this time trying to simply link an account, it still isnt done because why not. Its like EA made the easiest thing to do nearly impossible unless you use the exact email, and open a game, and link, and still not linked, now you need to download a client, which will also get you nowhere. I thought connecting accounts to twitch was time consuming. holly cow.
Hello everyone,
Another way to link your Xbox One or PlayStation 4 account to an EA account is to go through EA Help's login system.
After that, if your PSN or Xbox Live accounts are NOT linked already to another EA account, you will be prompted to link it to an EA account.
If it is already linked to another EA account, you will need to use those login credentials to access EA account features, including Twitch Prime.
I hope that helps!

EA_Arrenai: I just want to thank you for nudging me in the right direction for linking my EA account to my Xbox. I was working on this for days and I couldn't do it, I literally gave up. But out of desperation I went back on this forum and saw your reply, so I jokingly followed it, mocking myself saying "this wont work why am i doing this". But at last, I made it work. My Xbox and EA are linked and I got my Apex Legends Twitch Prime rewards. Much love.
Ok so guys who still haven't figured this out yet (I'm not sure if you can fix it the same way I did) but follow EA_Arrenai's instructions, then find out what EA account your PSN/Xbox account is linked to. Once you find out the correct EA account to use, (you may need to make a new password if you forgot) link that EA account to your Twitch Prime. Everything should be golden from there.
IF you already have your Twitch Prime linked to the WRONG EA account, you can unlink it by going here --> https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections - once you unlink your wrong EA account, just link up the new one and claim the Twitch Prime rewards. Everything should be fine from there 🙂
