Are the skate 3 servers completely shut down? (Xbox 360)

I have been trying to get parks on Skate 3 for ages now and all it says is that I cannot connect to the online service, are the Skate 3 servers shut down or are they just temporarily off? I am aware ...

like I get you want to encourage multiplayer but some people want to play the game alone and its so discouraging getting punished for no reason.
