Cannot connect to server
So get a load of this.
I couldn't connect to Skate 3 servers on my Xbox Series S. Said it "could not connect to EA Nation servers at this time". I log into another account on my Xbox, and try it there, and it works fine. But I want to use my xbox account.
So it's not an issue with my Xbox, clearly, it's an issue with my Xbox account and connecting to EA. So I try logging into EA with my xbox account, and it says I need to reset my password. I can't - because I don't know what email they're sending these reset password emails to. I try all of the emails I know I have, and nothing.
I log into Rocket Arena on Xbox Series S. It says "Reset Your Password" and how it sent a reset password email to me*******@gmail.com, and I recognize it - it's an email I no longer have access to. Which means I can't sign into that EA account. Which means I can't unlink my Xbox Live account from that EA account, and put it onto another or my current EA account.
So I try to verify my account - the guy asks for the IP address I last connected with. Who would even know that? Not to mention, I was a kid when I created that account - chances are, the birthday wasn't even valid. They asked me what billing address and credit card was on there, I don't even think there was one - again, I was a kid. They asked what purchases I made, I don't know - it was literally over 10 years ago.
This is absolutely insane. I've never had so many issues. Did the developers not have any foresight into how this could happen? Why isn't me logging into an account with my xbox account enough "verification" that I own the xbox account in question, which should be enough to get that account unlinked from a dead EA account that I no longer have access to??
