CANT LOG INTO EA SERVERS SKATE 3

So I got a finally got a PS3 jsut so I can enjoy Skate 3, played it many many times at various friends houses and absolutely love it.

Problem is I can't join any online team, download any custom parks and so on.

I've checked that my PSN and EA are linked (as far as I'm aware they are) and I have downloaded the Skate 3 Share Pack thingy 3 times so far and still having no luck.

The immense amount of custom parks and the online teams are the main reasons I bought the game so I'm pretty annoyed that that entire section of the game doesn't work. Maybe you guys should put out a notice telling prospective customers that they can't access all the functionality of the game they intend to buy.

Any help would be appreciated but going by the vast amount of unanswered threads or copy paste replies with the same non working fixes I'm not holding out much hope ☹️

Edit: I'd just like to add that instead of buying a 2nd hand copy of Skate 3 for £5 I went out and found an original one for £16 all because I wanted to support the game and get access to the extra content. Stuff like this and the closing of BattleForge with no option to play offline are why I really really didn't want to buy a new copy of any EA game in the first place. Surely you guys make enough from microtransactions every day to run servers for all your games for years at a time 😕
