Re: Gone Viral Trophy on Skate 3 PS3

The "Gone Viral" trophy has been impossible to unlock since May 2025. Following an update that glitched the trophy, it has become unobtainable for unknown reasons.
Even when playing with someone who already owns the trophy (which should trigger the unlock), it simply doesn't pop. No matter what workarounds or methods are attempted, the trophy remains broken.
This issue has been discussed far too extensively across multiple threads on this website for it to remain unfixed. As players and trophy hunters, we are incredibly disappointed by the lack of attention and action regarding this situation.
I'm not sure if this is also happening on Xbox, but it’s definitely the case on PS3

    Thank you for raising this! Always good to see more people shouting for a fix. It’s gone on too long. The last update we recieved on the forum was far far too long ago and even in discord it’s quiet. The most recent mention was just that they confirmed the problem only impacts ps3. Xbox is unaffected. Still this isn’t an excuse to leave it broken for us ps3 gamers. It needs a fix and not a 1 year anniversary of the problem in May

    Of course, as players, we deserve a response that is at least worthy of what EA represents. Honestly, it’s inconceivable that so much time has passed and they’ve left us unable to get the Platinum thanks to this trophy for a game as great as Skate 3.

    Everything could easily be fixed with an auto-pop: upon launching the game and connecting to the servers, the trophy should appear immediately. That is the fastest solution I see for a problem like this.
