How do I play Skate 3 with friends?

Hello! I have been trying to set up a game for my friend and I to play Skate 3 together in one lobby. I do not know how to do it. Can I please have some help?? I can't connect to EA Online Service either; "Problem connecting to EA Online Service. Please try again later." Thanks for the time and answers!
