Linking my old EA account to my new XBOX account.

I created a new Microsoft/XBOX account for my new XBOX. I had an old Xbox account but I no longer use it because it is under my parent's email. In the meantime, I continued to use my EA account to play games on my PC. Because I purchased the new XBOX and made a new account I would like to link my EA account to it. However, it is telling me that an EA account can only be linked to one XBOX live profile in its lifetime. Is there any way around this or to fix this?

    @EA_Lanna I was told that this problem cannot be solved. I am just perplexed as to why this would be a policy in the first place. Seems kinda dumb.
