Not a fan of all the spam in this thread but I too would like to see an update. Not about to sell my Xbox or anything but i'm pretty bummed that it's taking so long. Any info would be really appreciated.
@chatrat12 this thread is a consolidation of several that were previously posted so the first few pages are a bit disjointed.
@EA_Barry, @EA_Dave still no answers about whether or not the servers are being shut down? How long do you plan to keep stringing people along with this?

I can understand the passion behind the game, the problem is that the backward compatible program from Microsoft is complex in various levels, it´s not as easy as just emulate the games, there are several things involved, like "in game marketing deals" that may have expired, even Phil Spencer him self have gave several explanations about the constrains to make this happen.
Unfortunately as EA_Barry and EA_Dave said, we just do not have any additional info right now.
We will be more than happy to announce it, when we have more info on it.

@EA_Nuno you do have more information though. You've deftly avoided the question about whether or not the Skate 3 servers are being shut down, which would be a precursor to the game itself never making it to BC. Also, most of us are aware of the myriad holdups that are possible with bringing this game to BC and yet you still refuse to give us an explanation of what particular speed bump is in the way at the moment. How is it so difficult to understand that we simply want to know what stage the process is in? No one is demanding anything of you that is impossible, we just want to know where we are in the process.
