If you are having difficulties to connect to skate online service please try the following solutions:
- Try re downloading/ re installing the Share pack code for free.
The share pack code is now available for free in the PlayStation Store and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.- Make sure your PSN ID / GamerTag is properly linked to your EA/Origin Account especially if you have recently change your email address.

You're right, there was a lot of rumours about a new Skate title but up to now, no announcement has been made regarding a new Skate or BMX game.
If the issue persists, let us know.
Your GamerTag and Origin account are not linked.
You have to link them in order to access online features.
Make sure your PSN ID / GamerTag is properly linked to your EA/Origin Account especially if you have recently change your email address.
