Problem connecting to EA online service. (PS3)

Hey Friends!

First of all, I think you all do a wonderful job making the most fun games on the market.  Even when you make games that have themes that I am not interested in, I am always pleased with how fun they are to play no matter what.

But my problem is with Skate 3, I understand it is not on your highest of concerns anymore, but it is my favorite game to play because it is always entertaining and so hard to get tired of.  But over the past couple days I have not been able to connect with the EA online service.  At one point I was able to play online with one other person, but since that time (which was about a week ago) I have not been able to check the feed, photos, videos, or parks.  I am able to play online but I never see anyone there, which I understand may be the result of not that many people play Skate 3 anymore.  

I am wondering if the problem is something on my end, or if maybe you kids at EA are no longer supporting the online service for Skate 3.  I understand if you are and that isn't that big of a deal.  But if it is something on my end of the problem then I would love to get to know how to fix it.  


also sub question:  I know a while back there were several rumors of Skate 4 being at the very least concidered by EA (my sources being a bunch of youtube videos that may or may not of been B.S.)  Just wanting to know for myself if that was true, and also what was the outcome of that?   Also with the independent company making the PC/Mac/Android BMX game would EA concider doing a BMX game in the future?  The Sales might not be high on a Skate 4 game or even a BMX game, but the people who would buy the games would appriciate the doo doo out of them.  I'd probably buy 2 of each.  maybe 3... because I played all my skate games until the disks broke.  And will continue buying them if they break.
