Try redownloading and reinstalling Skate Share Pack (available for free in your console's store.)
This should resolve your issue.
My brother and I are attempting to play Skate 3 online but anytime we get near each other in game a "Waiting for players..." message comes up on the screen and freezes our game, sometimes for 5 seconds, other times permanently until one of us leaves the game. Any thoughts as to why this is happening? We both have the Share Pack downloaded and can get in a game with each other... but skating together is the hard part.
