My heart is filled with tears. The cry for skate is real. And not even a backwards release is an option due to EA acces marketing deals with MS. Boo hoo, we should not be victimized :-( ATLEAST give us a skate3 re release for ps4, if we are not getting skate 4 at all. Please EA, it may not be a direct commercial succes, but skate is a game with a proven loyal fanbase that can be profitable in the long run. And it for sure will be victory for the companies image and general goodwill.
i dont mean to sound rude but We really do need ea skate or something on ps4. It sucks me and my friends all got ps4s a year ago but with * network and now with skate 3 backwards compatability coupled with some of the new exclusives. 5 of my close friends and (soon possibly even more of the people i hang a skate with), all sold or traded their ps4's for xbone's think i might switch soon too. hope this goes to show you people will actually completely abandon your entire brand over things like this. js i dont understand how we dont have backwards compatibility.

I completely agree. Skate has a huge fan base and has been on HUGE DEMAND since PS4 was released. The only extreme sports games are ubisofts Steep and the newer Mark McMorris Infinite Air. I've heard good reviews on Steep and played the demo, which I liked and will soon be buying, Infinite Air however I won't bother as I've seen nothing but bad reviews. But Steep is in no way a Skate game. Yes Skate fives you one sport but the freedom and creativity it gives to us players in next to none. And EA would be highly mistaken if they thought they wouldn't make a ton of money off a PS4 version. I know from my own experience as well as what I've seen on the web. There are endless hours to be spent stomping you're favorite tricks in crazy spots in the Skate worlds. C'mon EA Give your fans what they want!!! Including myself!!!
I just made a damn account just so I can respond to this thread. This thread has been going on for a couple years and is still being added to. I have been a Skate fan ever since I was 7 when the first to the series came out. The second one will always be my favorite but I still do not comprehend why you guys cannot just put it out for PS4 already. I think it would be a wonderful addition to my collection, even if it was a digital only game. I would love to get back into park building and playing with friends when I am not permitted to skate outside because of the weather. It has currently been snowing out here in the midwest and I can't do anything besides sit inside! Please EA! Just make it!
I am amazed how a big amount of fans has been begging you for this game for years, but what really amazes me, it’s how you don’t give a f*ck about it.
We are not even asking for a new skate game (that of course would be an excelente choice) but just a way to play this great old game in a new platform...
It’s that the EA’s way to care about his costumers? Just a message, years ago, saying “There are no plans to do it”? Not even listening Your own costumers for years?
All you need to do it’s a ps4 port of the game and... boom! Easy money. I’ll be the first one purchasing it.
It’s not that difficult, and it’s a way to prove that you care about your fans, not just about the money... And make a lot of people happy by the way.
Just do it, man, put a smile on your costumers face...
