Skate 3

I have been playing skate 3 for 1 year. When playing multiplayer I have noticed that people who have the disc version of skate 3 can not play online multiplayer with someone who downloaded the game to the Xbox 360. On both consoles all of the parental settings are off and both comsoles have downloaded the share pack. What can I do to play with my friends? (I have the disc btw)
