Black Box has closed down in April of 2013. The possibilities of a new Skate is very slim.
- Anonymous12 years agoYeah, yeah, we all want a Skate 4 and i'm sure EA can see how many people are still playing S2 and S3 online. But if I'm not mistaken in an interview with Cuz on likebutter.com, i'm pretty sure he said the franchise was just a trilogy and he hasn't heard or knows anything about a Skate 4. It would be pretty epic if they did make another though. And don't believe the BS on youtube about a skate 4, he's been posting those vids for over a year now.
- Anonymous12 years agoI'd like the option to be able to skate in all kinds of weather conditions
And the option to skate at night so EA make the dam thing - Anonymous12 years agoIf it came out on ps4 i would deffo purchase a ps4 as skate is all I play really

1) There should have longer time periods for filming.
2) It should be easier film to use advanced cameras and slo mo, cuz it sucks trying to use both at the same time.
3) There could be a filming mode where you draw a line where the camera follows, along with a mode to follow your recorded line live, like a real camera man.
4) Rename some tricks, like 180 popshuvit is a big spin.
5) Switch should not be as easy as your regular stance, as it is now. It should be drastically harder, like writing with your non dominant hand. For switch you should have to swap the function of each analong. So steering would be in the right thumb and tricks would be in the left. This only makes sense difficulty-wise. For those who dont like it, it will be an option for a special difficulty above hardcore, with the switch function being the only difference. However if you not choose this mode you get no extra points for switch tricks.
6) Boards should break in hardcore modes, and more realistic scuffing of clothes and shoes.
7) And other implied improvements to any game, including; better graphics, more realistic physics, new/ more skateable area, more fluid walking, etc.
- Anonymous12 years agoDon't forget though guys, the guys at black box got **bleep**ed over BIG TIME, not only did they get shutdown and lost NFS but the Skate Franchise I believe is there or gone.... I personally think they should do something about it. I mean NFS Rivals was fun but it didn't feel the same cause the original creators got Fired. Idk, I hope EA realizes they need to UP their game. Cause ATM Battlefield 4 sucking complete ass with the online feature, NFS having crash issues, and EA Also stated "they're gonna pause some developments to help BF4" honestly EA don't care bout the fans. With the new consoles and The touch pad feature on the PS4 N the command feature on Xbox, maybe they can use those for network use. As in going to your skate.feed, yknow? Plus Rob Dydrek (however you spell it) I think he needs to do something about it.. Correct if I'm wrong, but didn't he like "support" it or something?

Yeah Its like I've been saying forever, unless you play Battlefield or Madden, Ea could care less. Battlefield gets DLC up until the next game comes out, They had all of Skate 3's DLC out in like 5 months and NFSMW's out in just a few months and right after the DLC, the only thing they were posting on F-Book is pictures of real cars saying "what do you guys think of this car?" And everybody's like "I'd like to have that car in the game."...........and nothing. F'ing idiots! But back to Skate 4. How about something a little more simple they could do. Like using Skate 2's graphics and physics, Skate 3's tricks, and a full roam, no having to teleport map of Port Carverton and San Van all in one. Bigger lobbies and much larger online area's too. And actually try to stop the mini map from disappearing for no reason, lol
