there is a problem connecting to the EA servers

Me to! This is the second ea game I have bought in a month that hasn't let me connect to the ea servers (the other being burnout paradise)! Someone help!!
I have downloaded the share pack for skate 3 but it still won't let me play with my friends. I feel like I have wasted my money on these games because I can't use the features I bought the game for!
As far as I can see this issue hasn't been resolved yet and there are many people with this problem so please help us ea!!

It has something to do with not being able to connect to ea nation I believe.

If anyone finds somewhere that explains how to sort it out then please let us know, thanks in advance
