Xbox live won’t work

Hi, I’m trying to play skate 3 online. I’ve made a account and everything but when I press online challenge map it says “your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live multiplayer functionality”. I’ve tried to fix this but I just can’t fingure out how. HELP (I’m using Xbox 360)

  • I have skate 3 on xbox one x via ea play, i am connected to the servers,  i have xbox live (trial) and when i click online challenge map it shows "your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access xbox live multiplayer functionality"

I have spoke with Microsoft about this and they have checked all permissions on my account and theyre fine, i have played other games online

    any help?

  • I’ve been getting this message when I try to play Skate 3 online.

I’m not the first one to have this problem, and I’ve tried everything and nothing has worked, and it’s been happening to me for a week now.

    Hard Reset

    Removing and re-adding the profile

Changing privacy settings on both Xbox and EA website

I think I’ve tried everything, except for things like resetting passwords because I highly doubt that would do anything if I tried.

The only thing I’m not sure of, is the Xbox live gold thing. Cause I’m sharing it with my main account, and usually it always worked before and Xbox is treating the alternative account like it has gold. But one day it stopped letting me go online in EA games, I even tried getting Xbox Live Ultimate on the new account and it still didn’t work.

Xbox always does stuff like this, and one fix is to just wait until whatever magically works again, but I have a feeling that’s not going to happen this time.

I know it’s a long shot, but I’m asking for any sort of fix, that isn’t just one of you people responding with a website url that I’ve already been to trying to solve this problem.

Hey @Raymond15000, this issue is generally caused by one of three things:

    • Your Xbox live is no longer active
    • Your account is underage
    • You have a ban on your account

The best thing to do is to check these and speak with Xbox support who will be able to advise you further.

I'm going to lock this thread as it is quite old.
