Star Wars Jedi: Survivor/Jedha progress-blocking bug

Dear EA Support Team,

I am reporting a critical, progress-blocking bug in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PC that has completely prevented me from continuing the main story.

At approximately 37% story completion, during the Jedha section involving the Dash ability and the objective “Reach the Pilgrim’s Sanctuary,” my session crashed. After reloading:

- The main objective did not update.

- The Dash tutorial prompt remains permanently on screen.

- A required story door is locked and cannot be opened.

- There is no alternate route available.

- The game appears to be stuck in an incomplete script state.

As a result, my progression is fully blocked.

After researching the issue, I found numerous reports of the exact same bug on EA forums and other platforms dating back several years. It is extremely disappointing that in 2026 a known main-story progression bug still exists in a released AAA title.

This is not a minor glitch — it completely prevents players from finishing the campaign.

I am requesting:

  1. Official confirmation that this issue is acknowledged.
  2. Clear guidance on any supported workaround.
  3. Escalation of this case to the development team, as it is a progression-blocking defect.

Please advise on how this issue is being addressed.

Sincerely,

Biriukov Sergei

  • I would also like to address the so-called “workaround” that many players describe online — specifically activating Photo Mode or rapidly opening the settings menu near the locked door in hopes that a collision glitch will push the character through the wall.

This is not a legitimate solution. Relying on unintended physics or camera behavior to bypass level geometry is effectively exploiting a bug to bypass another bug. It does not resolve the underlying progression issue and should not be considered an acceptable fix for a main story blocker in a commercial release.

A progression-breaking defect should be addressed with a proper patch or official solution, not left for players to circumvent through unintended glitches.
