Hey everyone, just wanted to share that I saw this fix on Reddit when looking for a solution:

Looks like the problem specifically has to do with how people react to the abduction, which is why abductions are working on lots with single Sims. I can confirm that my abductions work after installing this mod!
This is great, thanks! I hadn't made it over to modthesims since installing yet. I assumed it would be a week or two before new stuff popped up and I already have tons of hacks that are working for me.
