Bought the sims 2+2 packs and i can't open it on ea app

is anyone else having this issue? i posted on another forum but i didn't see a more specific forum until now. i bought the game and haven't played for a couple weeks and when i decided to play again it asked me to update before starting the game. when it finished i tried to open it and it gave me a pop up that i don't own the game or to restart the app. i restarted the app multiple times and i still get the same pop up. it's downloaded on my computer but its no where to find in ea game library.
