Corrupted download

Am I doing something wrong? I bought the sims 2+the sims 2 packs, but for some reason no matter how many times I reinstall the game, my laptop says that some needed files were corrupted during installation. I’m not sure how to fix this or if my laptop just can’t run the game. PLEASE HELP LOL. 

I HAVE AN HP WINDOWS 10 IF THAT HELPS.
