Crash When Opening Beach Lot

I've been playing the re-release for about 16 hours, I decided to work on a beach lot with no family. But it loads halfway and crashes just saying the program will terminate (no error code). It's odd...

    Hi all,

    This was resolved in today's patch:

    • The Sims 2 might crash if a custom beach lot is placed in Belladonna Cove

No, it still crashes in Belladonna Cove, but loads in Desiderata Valley. I haven't tried playing a family on a beach lot, however. I tried patching & reinstalling the game and deleting Belladonna Cove, but it still didn't work. Granted, when I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, my saves were still there, so maybe I need to try a firmer wipe. I don't have any custom content installed, so I'm not sure why it doesn't work consistently.
