Crash When Opening Beach Lot

I've been playing the re-release for about 16 hours, I decided to work on a beach lot with no family. But it loads halfway and crashes just saying the program will terminate (no error code). It's odd...

    Hi all,

    This was resolved in today's patch:

    • The Sims 2 might crash if a custom beach lot is placed in Belladonna Cove

smm18kbq3kyq MagicalKD Beach lots are somewhat broken at the moment. Is the lot that does not crash flatter than the one that crashes? I have found that the steeper the lot is, the more likely it is to crash the game, since uneven terrain may not work well with beach lots.

    I think it is! When it did load, there was something wrong with the terrain--it was oddly striped. I tried a few places in Belladonna Cove, but I think they were all steep. Brilliant deduction--thanks!
