When I loaded in, I immediately fixed graphics and created my sim. As soon as I made the sim, and clicked to move her into a lot, the game crashed. This is with the new legacy edition, I never had this problem with the Ultimate Collection I've been playing prior.

Press the 3 dots in the bottom left corner, there will be an icon that looks like a pc monitor. Click that, and it will give you all the different options. I set mine to 1920x1080 and set everything to the highest settings.
Wanted to add, I opened back up and it saved my sim, so I was able to play without any crashes so far. Seems that it just crashes at some point when exiting Create A Family.

I'm having the same issue in the Legacy Edition. Can start the game just fine, but when trying to save a family in CAS, the game crashes with the "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." notice.
