Help with the sims Castaway Stories looking horrible in Windows 10!

Ok so I really love Castaway and decided to re-intsall it after 10 years. Back then I was using Windows 7, so I didn't have any issues. Now I loaded the game and I see this. Of course my natural instinct was to search on the internet but there is nothing. So I have 2 questions.
1. Can I use Graphic Rule Maker on Castaway?
2. Can I get a higher resolution?

Please help, I really really wanna play this.

    well it just looked how the sims 2 looks without using graphics rule maker on it and doing some more fixes. The same thing except I had to again manually do every step but I knew that the sims castaway isn't the same as the sims 2 and I wasn't looking forward to doing everything manually but I had to and it seems like it needs some more fixes since it still crashes but thank you nonetheless for responding!
