My Sims are on vacation at Twiikki Beach Hotel and when I try to open their save when they’re staying in the hotel the loading screen gets stuck. Sometimes the camera in the corner appears to show where they are in the hotel but I’m still stuck on the loading screen, can anyone advise please?Note that I can load other lots just fine and if I play other saves of different families, they can visit humidity lots just fine. It’s just a Twiikki hotel that seems to be the problem. I’ve also tried deleting the accessory and group cash files, but that doesn’t seem to work either.

You launch the game and in the neighbourhood in the top left corner click the airplane icon to check the vacation worlds. Click on the one where your sim is stuck in, a bin icon will appear next to it, that's how you delete it. Now you can load into your sim's home lot and they will be there once you cancel their active action.

me too,
I deleted the save file and started a new family, have just graduated from university, and the whole game reset to the start! Not sure I want to start again!

Glad I’m not alone but it’s also suuuuuper annoying!! Going to have to start a different save and wait until someone or EA hopefully provide a solution…

Same! I’m going to have to start again which is rubbish :(( only thing I can think of doing is playing another family in the world and waiting for my sims to come back home in a couple nights lol

Same issue on the same lot! I could easily book into the hotel with no issue, but after a day of outing with my sim I could not return to the hotel, I am stuck on a loading screen, I can only force quit. :( Strange thing is I can hear the game playing behind the loading screen, even the little extra camera popped up in the bottom right corner over the loading screen when something happens nearby.

i’m also having the same problem, but on a different vacation lot! seems like there isn’t any fix to this yet. i’ve tried the ol’ delete cache, etc. and nothing seems to have worked. i hope we get a fix soon. i’m already starting to feel like a fool for buying this game AGAIN expecting at least some of the bugs to be fixed.

I have the same problem! I’ve just had to delete the neighbourhood and start again. There will be no vacationing or pets this time! I hope they fix it soon.

I’m having the same issue with the family I’ve played with just a different lot in the woods area😞 So now I have to play with other families until they fix the bugs - also because I can’t launch Sims 1 either 😭

Having the same issue but another location on the island. Had to restart with a new family and avoid the EP :(
It's weird I hear the game audio but it never progresses past loading.

WORKAROUND/HALF FIX until they hopefully properly fix it!
If you delete that vacation world your household is stuck in, then load back into your household's home and cancel out their vacation action they will come back home! Not the neatest solution, but if you want to get back your household right now it works! It worked for me! ^^ I guess I won't be using the EP again for the time being!
