Might Be A Dumb Question But Can You Run Sims 2 On A Windows 11 PC?

Yes. I have a machine with Windows 11 for Sims 2.

I copied over everything from my thumb drive, that had been copied from my previous machine running Windows 10. I don't remember where I found everything I needed to get it working, I just googled things like "graphics rules changes for Sims 2 on Windows" and "flashing pink neighborhood Sims 2" and followed the advice. Even though none of it has been updated for Windows 11, it all worked. The one thing that didn't work was a tutorial on fixing the shadows (which show up as large black squares under Sims). A mod I found called Shadowfix also no longer worked. I ended up just turning shadows off in the menu.

Edited to add: If you don't already have it from before, you still need the 4GB patch, which is here:https://ntcore.com/?page_id=371. It still works.

Ah okay! Thanks so much for the advice, I've been trying to figure out how to play Sims 2 without any glitches for a while now and I've just about given up ?

Thanks for that link I knew going to sims 2 again I was missing something and couldn't for the life of me remember everything.
