My game appears uninstalled

So today I turned my PC on, opened EA app and sims 2 was not in instelled games. I tried restart app, I restarted PC too, still not installed. I tried launch the game and it told me, game is not inst...

    Hi all,

    This issue should now be resolved- if you're still seeing this error, please clear the cache for the EA app following the steps here.

Yup same for me, opened EA App and it was uninstalled, didnt try launching though cuz I was thoroughly upset since it deletes the documents folder as well with EVERYTHING i had in it.

It deletes your documents folder? As in, your PC documents folder?

    no i didnt articulate that clearly enough because i was still half awake and panicking at the time.  I was looking under the wrong folder because muscle memory opens the folder where sims 4 is and sims 2 is installed under a different one.  I still have it.
