So unless I'm extremely blind there is no CSBin folder anywhere in the file folders which would contain the exe for Bodyshop. I'm hoping this was an oversight that can be rectified because Bodyshop is a vital part of making CAS content for Sims 2.
I've noticed that! The Body Shop is sooo useful, it'll be terrible creating sims without it :( Is there any way to bring it back??

Seconded. We really need the Body Shop and similar creation tools for Sims 2 Legacy Collection. Its kind of a really important piece of the game, so I was quite upset to see it wasn't there and that there's no other way to install it!! EA, please release it!!!
I really Hope this Gets up to EA / The Sims team's attention, because Half the fun of playing Sims 2 was getting to recolor base things for myself.
EA! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY Give us back Bodyshop and Package installer! Those are SOOOOO very necessary!
This is so disappointing, and honestly extremely duplicitous of EA. I hope they fix this issue, because reselling a game without acknowledging anywhere that such a core component of it is missing feels like it's teetering right on the edge of false advertising. How can this be legitimately called a re-release with it missing?
yeah I second that, the body shop is such a crucial part of the sims 2 it's kind of upsetting EA didn't bother to include it with the legacy collection. CC is literally part of TS2's legacy!
I tried going back to the collection and it just now force crashes and refuses to run so I cannot play it with bodyshop nor do sims custom cc. Just remember this is the same company that shut down the EA sims 2 exchange to focus on sims 3 at one point which had a lot of custom content, store items and other things for body shop like guides. Its really sad they published this unfinished and expect us all to be happy and quiet about it. If you bought it on steam refund it and review it but make sure to review it before refunding it and such. Honestly they need to get a wake up call. This is a older game and its not hard to remaster games if you we are spending half premium price for a game. I supported EA Since sims 1 this just really makes me sad. They are pulling the same card where they removed the sims 3 world builder from the sims 3 website quietly as well so you cannot make custom worlds unless you dig through the internet

But I am still very upset about the lack of Sims 2 Body Shop, since theres no other way to get it unless you just buy an older copy of Sims 2 without the fixes the re-release has. Since custom content is core to the Simming experience, this is a major oversight.
I really hope this can get added back in. Only reason I have saved sims is because I transferred them from my physical copy into the savedsim folder. After I uninstalled my physical copy, body shop disappeared... Not like I can redownload the physical copy since my disk player isn't working at the moment.
