@JULES1111 Thank you for the detailed reply, i never thought about that placeholder sim method before.
I've used the Stay Things Shrub before but i've also heard some concerning things.. Like, I read the other day in a post about preventing neighbourhood corruption something about how "sickness tiles" generated by sick sims could still be stuck on a lot, and I guess I was concerned about other things that might stay on the lot even after one family moves out. For now, I solved the depreciation issue by getting the Magic Wand mod, just a shame i can't break the shower and tv without moving a family in (i'm making a starter fixer-upper house in my neighbourhood).
Anyways, about the forum limits.. I don't know the history of spammers in this forum, but to me it seems like requiring users to make 30 posts spread out in other topics is a good way to get people to write useless comments just to get their post amount up. Tbh, that's the reason for my first post in this topic. All I said was how it's worth it to buy sims 2, which does not contribute at all to this topic because it's already been said by plenty of other people, which means you can consider my post spam as well.
