Sim constantly making "you're crazy" hand gesture

Question

The title pretty much says it all, but here's a GIF of what I'm talking about: https://imgur.com/a/tcVwf5G

She does this pretty much every 20 or 30 seconds, no matter if she's alone, with her cat, or with another sim. However, I have noticed that when she's with an NPC they copy her and do the exact same thing.

I do have mods and cc. Not sure how to isolate which one might be doing this though because I just started playing Sims 2 and installed all of them at once.

Any help is appreciated!

I would first remove your mods and see if the behavior continues.

Then put them back one by one for the mods and in batches for CC if you downloaded a lot. As small of batches as you can tolerate. Test between each time you put them back.

I thought for sure this must be a mod problem, but apparently it's a basegame issue.
