Sims 2 legacy cant launch

After a week of playing, I all of the sudden can't launch the game. I get two pop ups : unsupported 16-bit application, the program can not start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit Windows; the second one says: Launch failed, please verify the installation. Can anyone help please :/
